Mormon Sisters, ed. Claudia Bushman

Perhaps I sped through this one too quickly to properly appreciate it, or perhaps I was spoiled for it by reading all those Mormon blog which refer to it, but I found this one much less impressive and interesting than Sisters in Spirit. I guess I'm just not a historian, or something, because while I was impressed and interested in the stories of these strong Mormon women, I thought the articles, in general, were long on facts and short on analysis; I would have preferred longer articles, even, if they provided more context and background and analysis, instead of the plain "just the facts, Ma'am" approach. In any case, this is still a classic for its time, and I in no way regret having bought or read it.
